ASUS VW198 19-inch widescreen LCD monitor
The ASUS VW198 is the first 19-inch widescreen LCD monitor with WSXGA+ 1680x1050 high resolution – the minimum display resolution requirement for operating Windows Vista as recommended by Microsoft. It has an increase of 36% in resolution and shortens 15% pixel pitch to deliver finer image quality than normal 19-inch widescreen LCD monitors. With such cutting-edge enhancements, users will be able to perfectly experience high-resolution visual performance and see clearer details on the 19”W+ VW198.
ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio Technology
The ASUS VW198 series incorporates wide viewing angles, 5ms response time and 300 nits brightness to deliver clear and smooth image quality. The innovative ASCR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio Technology) provides the high contrast ratio of 3000:1 that dynamically adjusts contrast between black and white to create sharper and more stereoscopic images – especially during video and movies. Built-in stereo speakers complete the multimedia ensemble and deliver a video display solution that doubles with high-quality audio experience.
