Mercedes-Benz Canada launched a new website featuring images, video, vignettes, and product highlights of the innovative all-new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C Class. The site can be found at mercedes-benz.ca/whatdrivesyou. Understanding that many drivers see their vehicle as an extension of themselves, the site asks visitors: “What Drives You?” Five animated vignettes act as “answers”, each representing a different dimension of the vehicle’s – and driver’s – personality.

A key feature of the sleek site is a brochure customizer where visitors can build – and send themselves – a personalized e-brochure with information relevant to them. The site also encourages visitors to place the Mercedes C Class images and video onto personal websites and blogs. Mark Forsyth, Manager of Interactive Services at Mercedes-Benz Canada, comments: “With a unique brochure builder, integrated media gallery, and direct links to an online configurator and dealer locator, this site gives customers and potential Mercedes-Benz clients several opportunities to get up close and personal with the new car.”

The new Mercedes C Class has now arrived in Mercedes-Benz showrooms in Canada and dealers have been approached by numerous customers eager to drive the luxury sedan. “Our online preview has already generated significant interest and we anticipate that this new site will further encourage many people to take a test drive,” says Forsyth. The site was designed by Mercedes-Benz Canada’s interactive agency, henderson bas.
