Grundig is revolutionising its user guidance for its LCD TV models with LED backlight technology with the introduction of the “Comfort Guide”. For the first time, the Comfort Guide is to be featured in Grundig’s series of TVs Fine Arts and Vision 8, which include the high-end TV chassis Digi SX. Using this completely re-designed user interface, important changes to settings, such as picture and sound or USB recordings, can be made intuitively. Priority has thereby been given to self-explanatory menu structures and simple control. What’s really clever about this is that the practical split screen function simultaneously displays the previous and the new setting in direct comparison.
Grundig Comfort Guide next generation
Glancing at the operating manual to make a suitable TV setting has now become a thing of the past. Full screen menus were yesterday. With the next generation of screen displays, the Grundig Comfort Guide, the main menu is positioned on the bar to the left of the screen, whilst the running TV program remains visible throughout the entire time the user is being guided through the menu. This means the viewer won’t have to miss out on any important action. In addition, the high graphic resolution of the symbols means the devices are a lot easier to operate.

Grundig Comfort Guide before and after effect
Depending on whether light exposure is high or low or the room is large or small - for the best TV experience each television should be set to optimally suit its surroundings. For this, the state-of-the-art split screen function of the Comfort Guide is paticularly helpful. While the picture changes on one side, the viewer can see the previous settings on the other side and can make easy adjustments to the picture to suit each individual environment.
Grundig Comfort Guide a little information
The Comfort Guide steers the user through the individual operating steps using its interactive user guidance and in doing so it simplifies, for example, the use of the USB recording function of Grundig televisions. The recordings can be programmed with the aid of the new Electronic Program Guide. In addition, the user can view information on the time remaining on the USB stick or hard drive and details about previously recorded films or programs can be viewed from the recording list.
