SanDisk Corporation’s launch party on the famous Sunset Strip this past weekend was filled with an exclusive group of celebrities, musicians, SanDisk key clients and the world’s media enjoying VIP treatment in three of the most exclusive venues on Sunset Strip. Lucky guests were treated to exclusive performances from Linkin Park, Common, Z-Trip, Supernatural, Cut Chemist and The Crystal Method, all of whom performed in the top three legendary clubs in Los Angeles. The SanDisk event was the first time the Viper Room, The Roxy and the Key Club were simultaneously reserved for a single event by one company.

iPod touch review at Engadget

Engadget, the popular technology weblog has reviewed the iPod touch. Yeah, we know we're a little late with this one, but we see the iPod touch as a pretty major turning point for Apple's iPod line; when it was announced, we finally thought we'd found an iPod we could really get behind. For years technology enthusiasts pondered the possibility of an Apple-made widescreen, WiFi-enabled portable media device, and they finally did just that - even throwing in a few things that, prior to the iPhone, we might not have expected, like a full-fledged web browser, internet video player (YouTube), multi-touch interface, etc. it's become pretty clear that Steve was right when he declared that the iPhone is still the best iPod.

1963 Ford Thunderbird Italien

The 1963 Ford Thunderbird Italien concept car will be sold at No Reserve during the 37th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event on Jan. 12-20, 2008, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Oozing with European panache from the aerodynamic roof line to the front and rear leather bucket seats, this one-off, Ford-designed concept was an extreme departure from the traditional classics rolling out of Detroit in the early 1960s. Hailed as “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Events,” the Scottsdale auction will feature 1000 of the world’s finest collector vehicles and lavish lifestyle events. As always, Speed Channel will broadcast live-coverage of all six auction days.
