1963 Ford Thunderbird Italien

The 1963 Ford Thunderbird Italien concept car will be sold at No Reserve during the 37th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event on Jan. 12-20, 2008, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Oozing with European panache from the aerodynamic roof line to the front and rear leather bucket seats, this one-off, Ford-designed concept was an extreme departure from the traditional classics rolling out of Detroit in the early 1960s. Hailed as “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Events,” the Scottsdale auction will feature 1000 of the world’s finest collector vehicles and lavish lifestyle events. As always, Speed Channel will broadcast live-coverage of all six auction days.

Toyota i-REAL mobility vehicle

The Toyota i-REAL is a personal mobility vehicle made closely in human scale as a step toward commercialization in the near future. The Toyota i-REAL represents the next stage of Toyota's personal mobility vehicle development, following the PM, i-unit and i-swing. The Toyota i-REAL mobility vehicle uses three wheels (two at the front and one at the back), in low-speed mode, shortening its wheelbase to allow it to maneuver naturally among pedestrians at similar eyesight height without taking up a large amount of space; in high-speed mode the wheelbase lengthens to provide a lower center of gravity and better driving performance.
