Belkin’s Mouse Trap zips up to carry a mouse and other small items around the house, for use with your laptop. Open it up and use it as a portable mouse pad. Mouse Trap is perfect for moving from your bed to the couch to the dining-room table. A December 2005 laptop-user study conducted by Belkin found that 39 percent of laptop users rarely or never take their laptops out of the home. Additionally, the study showed that 43 percent of laptop owners keep their laptop in the family room, with half of these same owners moving their laptops to different areas of the home.

Zooming in on images, starting videos, or returning to the previous Internet page - in addition to the standard mouse buttons, the new 8 buttons M3050 Wireless Laser Mouse features Office and multimedia buttons that let you control programs and applications with a click. Switching between the “Office” and the “media” settings and adjusting the resolution is accomplished by pressing the “CPI” button, a small button behind the scroll wheel. Pressing it for a longer time jumps between the modes; pressing it briefly changes the resolution (800 or 1600 dpi).
