The new α NEX-C3 by Sony is the world’s smallest, lightest interchangeable lens digital camera in its class. Offered in a choice of stylish colors, the NEX-C3 features an attractive new body design that combines a satisfyingly solid metal top casing with an easy - to - use streamlined grip shape. Reducing the size of main circuitry shrinks camera body weight to just 225g - that’s almost 6% less than the NEX-3.

Sony α560 camera

Sony introduced an α (alpha) DSLR camera (model SLR-a560) that leverages Sony’s Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor to make it easier for active shooters to get the best shot without missing a moment. Along with the a33 and a55 cameras (also announced today), the α560 model is one of the only DSLR cameras with Multi - frame Noise Reduction, Sweep Panorama mode, 3D Sweep Panorama and Full HD 1920x1080 60i video capture. This 14.2 megapixel α560 camera offers the same features of its predecessor, the innovative α550, which introduced Quick AF Live View, 7fps continuous shooting and Auto HDR to the step - up DSLR class.

Sony Alpha A700 Preview

The new Sony Alpha A700 was launched during a Sony press conference in Italy. Unfortunately, the surprise element was lost because one day earlier the Alpha introduction was disturbed by a leak caused by Sony. The Sony Alpha 700 is Sony’s second digital SLR camera that has to contribute to a continuously compiling series of SLR cameras, with which Sony manifests itself as renowned DSLR manufacturer. The Sony DSLR A700 is a digital SLR camera which is positioned in the middle segment, and with that, has to compete (heavily) with the new collection of Canon and Nikon D-SLR cameras, among others. During my stay in Italy, I had the chance to work with the Sony A700 for a short period.
