The third dimension is finding its way into living rooms with the Grundig Fine Arts 3D LED 55 and Fine Arts 3D LED 46. The Grundig Fine Arts series, with a 46 and 55 - inch diagonal, is soon to deliver a perfect 3D experience to the home thanks to its 200 Hertz technology and Full High Definition resolution (1080p). Of course, 2D pictures will be reproduced in brilliant quality too.
LG NANO 3D TV
Two new NANO FULL LED series (LW9500 and LW7700) push the boundaries of viewing pleasure with their NANO Lighting Technology, producing a clear, bright and smooth picture. Extremely thin film printed with a proprietary light dispersion pattern and combined with a full array of LEDs disperses light more evenly across the screen, creating pictures that are brighter and more uniform than conventional edge - lit LED sets. What’s more, an Anti - Reflection Panel on the screen minimizes reflection from external light sources, including sunlight, to provide a crystal clear picture.
Glasses-free Toshiba 3D TV
At CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas (US) Toshiba reinforces its commitment to fill a leading role in important fields in consumer electronics business. The company announces commercial availability of 3D-TVs* with screens of more than 40’’ (102cm) that do not require wearing glasses. In Europe, the first large screen 3D-TV models featuring a glasses-free technology will be available on the market in fiscal year 2011 (April 2011 - March 2012). To prove the capability of glasses-free 3D technology, Toshiba showcases prototypes with large screen sizes at CES. The world’s first 65’’ (165cm) TV that offers a 3D viewing experience without the need for glasses, and an additional sample of a 56” (142cm) device.
LG 3D TV
At the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, LG Electronics (LG) will unveil the LW6500, a CINEMA 3D TV designed to take 3D TV to new heights of brightness and clarity. “With the introduction of our innovative CINEMA 3D TV, LG is setting another standard for 3D entertainment,” said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Home Entertainment Company. “For consumers who want to enjoy cinema-quality 3D at home with their family and friends, LG is now making that possible.” Because LG’s CINEMA 3D technology does not require shutter glasses, images displayed on the LW6500 are entirely free of flicker. This innovation resulted in the LW6500 receiving a “Flicker Free” certification from Intertek and TÜV, two of the most respected inspection and certification bodies in the world. The LW6500 is the first 3D TV in the world to receive this designation.
